odyssey battery

Is anyone running an odyssey battery in their 750 Paso? I have found that the PC535 fits the 906 and 907 but have not found a listing for the 750. Do they all use the same size battery?

I dont know about 906, but my 750 paso and 907 have totally different batteries (also Ahs)... 750 have much smaler one...

Just take the measurement or take it out to match it up to a new battery.

Yuasa YTX14AHL-BS is a sealed maintenance free battery, while OEM was a traditional lead-acid. My old mechanic told me that it's better not to use a sealed battery on old motorcycles. I guessed he referred to gel batteries (that need particular charging circuits), but then I found these articles:

The two most common types of CAR batteries are low maintenance (non-sealed) and maintenance free (non-sealed or sealed). Sealed batteries are made with vents that (usually) cannot be removed. The so-called Maintenance Free batteries are also sealed, but are not usually leak proof. Sealed batteries are not totally sealed, as they must allow gas to vent during charging. If overcharged too many times, some of these batteries can lose enough water that they will die before their time.

I don't know if you use sealed batteries with no problems on your Paso, but IMHO it's better to think twice if your climate is hot or if your charging circuit is not working properly (I reccomend the well known electrical wiring upgrade with starting relay)
