I've heard people complain of not being able to use the Paso mirrors efficiently due to the low placement, saying their elbows got in the way. Some of the changes may have been in part due to that issue, not only the $$$ and availability. Being used to the paso placement, I find myself wanting to place the mirrors on my LC4 below the bars or at bar end.

when i first got my paso, i thought the low integrated placement of the mirrors would make them pretty much useless.

well, i was wrong - i find i can see very well with them - in fact, much better than with the mirrors on my kawasaki zx14.
having said that though, you are probably correct about the bar end mirrors - they do give you a great sight picture, but their extension from the bike can make clearances tricky.

But you sure were hard to convince. Actually i don't think i ever did convince you, you had to try to believe.

About the Paso mirrors, Antti said once he used to find it very useful seeing the legs (and other...) of the passenger....

Ok My turn to add some Photo's

I have to confess to being very slack in 2006 and not posting these earlier, but In May 06 a friend and I went on a bit of a mission to the Ducati Factory.
A full write up will follow when I get round to it but here are a few pics for a bit of a taste

On the way through Europe we dropped in to see Gerhjhard - good to finally meet after so many years of conversing through the board and Yahoo group.
