2 podiums for Pedosa...this could very well be his year! Hayden looks about as impressive as Capirosi. Hayden should have stayed w/ 69. changing to number 1, ...bad move. even Rossi, the largest ego in motogp, stayed w/ number 46 through all his world titles.
And it doesn't look like Hopper is ever gonna get onto the podium He needs to give that Rizla Suzuki a break, or go race SBK if he's so stuck on Suzuki.
Almost a month before the next race. lots of time for eveybody to figure out how to go faster. Go Ducati!

Re: motogp, 2nd round
Really, I think Rossi lost the last championship only because he was dogged by bad luck. In fact, I don't see any real competitor and Pedrosa doesn't seem able to beat him.mrinflux wrote:2 podiums for Pedosa...this could very well be his year! Perhaps, if he will be consistent would take advantage by some Rossi's error, like Hayden last year.
But, if Rossi will not to do any error, no one would beat him.
No matter, GO DUCATI!!!

franco,
to be fair, one could say the same about loris last year. but for gibernau taking him out at the start of Catalunya, Capirosi might very well have gone on to win the whole enchilada!

The biggest difference between the desmosedici '06 and the M.Y.'07 is the setup used in Quatar gp.
The bike was very easy to ride, because of a "smoother" engine performance. This let "crazy" Stoner able to get such a performance. Maybe he learned something riding Honda last year.
I mean that honda is very well known for its character: it's easy but you have to ride in the "japan" way :ugh:

No use for Pedrosa
ducman,
You're not alone in your disdain for Pedrosa. Since Hayden is so popular here in the USA, lots of americans were angry at Pedrosa for taking Hayden out in a crash that could have cost Hayden the title. But in the end it didn't and Pedrosa apologized.
I agree. it was a bad pass. but do you feel the same way about Gibernau, who took Capirosi out at the start of Catalunya, and may very well have cost Capirosi the title? do you have no use for Gibernau? Apparantly Ducati doesn't, as evidenced by his absence from Ducati Corse!

Actually its guys that scored a brand new 1098 that I don't like!!
You lucky stiff you must be having waaay too much fun.
Your comments tend to put things in perspective, Pedrosa lost the role of villain when Hayden won the title, so I should let Saigons be bygones...as for Ducati, the rest of the boys had better step up their game, Stoner shouldn't be expected to carry the team.

stepping up to the plate
right after jerez, capirosi flew home for the immenent birth of his first child rather than remaining, (like stoner did), to get in some practice/testing laps.
you know what they say about a new baby taking a half second of your game....doesn't bode well for capirosi. looks like stoner is gonna be ducati's guy this year.
