WANTED: left handed mirror unit paso 750

Post by dehaas »

I recently won one at ebay, but it turned out to be one for a 906/907. So I still need one for my 750.
If anybody happen to have a yellow one I would be glad to buy it.

ciao

There isn't any difference among the mirrors for 750, 906, 907.

The difference is beetween the "real", first Paso mirrors and the mirrors of the Cagiva Freccia, very similar, built by FAR.

The first mirrors are no longer available so, the Ducati dealers sell the "Freccia" type: this ones are fixed directly to the fairings with 3 screw pin, while the first ones have 3 coupling pins that are fixed to the fairing by a metal plate.

What you have?

750 and 906 mirrors have the same ordering number, the 907ie has a different one.
According to what I know I would also say they`re the same but what is this mirror ?!

I contacted F.A.R a short while ago regarding replacement mirrors for my 750 ( part # 1689 left & 1690 right) they can supply through your dealer by special order as F.A.R do not sell direct to the public. the price i was quoted £64.95 each. hope this helps you.

The mirror on the yellow bike is an aftermarket item, the 907
mirror is the same as the 750 and 906 only different in colour.

Those in that yellow 907 are NOT originals... It can be also, that those have only blinkers, cause he have put bar end mirrors... 750, 906 and 907IE original mirrors are all same, maybe some colour differences only.

Ah, I see. So I won a Far one.
The FAR ones have different mounting bolts, you need to drill new holls for them. The units also have slightly different roundings so you will have to work on your fairing. And the mirror isn't adjustable.
For now I am able to ride legaly now, but I hope to find one at the Ducati club races (holland)...

Thanks
