Beat 906 on Ebay

Post by davidhughrose »

While scanning for parts for my 750 Paso this morning I noticed this very tired looking 906 on Ebay; looks really tired and owned by ignoramuses who have no clue or respect for a Paso: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-P ... enameZWDVW

I have absolutely no connection with the seller or any aspect of this. Just thought it could help out a fellow Pasoist.

Seems, that there is no anykind of "quaranteen" of engine working, so i wouldnt pay so much about this bike and i dont bid anything about it. If engine is totally out, its not so vise to buy such 906... ...and its only 906, not 750, or 907IE....

He says the bike has 28.000 km., at 26.000 km. the bike has been fully serviced, included the timing, and at 23.000 km. the suspensions have been fully overhauled.
Besides, he says the mufflers would be homologated by Ducati ( ), there are new brake and clutch master cylinders (Yamaha) and new regulator and generator...

Are you interested????

I was a little surprised that the bike went for that much money, but it does appear to be in better condition than the Paso 750 that I picked up last July. With the difference in cost between a running 750 and 906, I guess it is about the same as I paid for my 750 ($900).

I hope the buyer of the 906 restores it, but I'm afraid he may be one of those folks who will be overwhelmed and we'll see the bike being parted out on eBay in a few months. Let's hope not.

Looks like its all there.......for 1300 bucks i would say theres a whole lot of fun to be had....remember my 907 was in pieces and it cost me 2000.00 and it would take a bunch of cash to make me part with mine....

good luck and all that.....

I'm relieved the bike didn't go to someone who didn't know what to do about repairing it and then wound up parting the bike, out of frustration. I'm glad you got lucky on such a cheap repair....I haven't been as lucky. I was hoping to get my $900 Paso 750 running for less than $400, but so far I think I've sunk around another $900 or so into it and still haven't heard it run....but I'm getting closer.

1300 bucks duc well I did all right the bike cost me 1300 I dropped a whopping $3 to fix the stand, rebuilt the carbs and traced all the wiring and refitted the connections wher dirty , plugged in the battery and wham 2 mins to start the first time , and now she starts in 15 secs, took her out on a 100 mile ride and she flew. a big bath and sme touch up paint she even got the eye of a few duc snobbs at the dealer, I just purchased some 900 ss pipes and ned the tube extended 3inch and we are cookin, did I mention it was converted to 17s
