Length of bike?

I am looking at getting a Paso, and have a friend with a pick-up truck with a 6'-6" bed to carry the bike home. How long is the 750 Paso?

My manual shows overall length 80"(79.99) or 6'8". Now that is front of front tire to rear of rear fender so the wheels should sit within the bed and I figure you could close the gate if angled a bit.
