Does anyone know which way the nut is thread, regular or reverse thread.
Thanks

It's a long time since I undid the one on my 750, but I just checked my Ducati factory manual, and there is nothing to indicate that it's not threaded normally, ie it loosens anti-clockwise. I do remember it was bloody tight - it took me, my son, and my father together, and a long lever, to get it undone.

This is regular thread, I just picked up a long socket this morning to tighten the nut on a rebuild.

Don't forget to use locktite when tightening!

Best way to loosen is with an air rattle (is this the correct word?)
