That does kind of sound like notchy or loose head bearings. Does it want to stand up? how is the profile of your front tire? Could the swing arm be loose. I'd look at those areas before riding far or hard.DaveM wrote: when i was riding the Paso yesterday and rode it fairly hard i noticed that the front end did not seem right and the bike tended to run wide on corner exits and there was a slight weaving sensation, as this is the first time riding a Paso do they all do this or do i need to check the forks adjustments etc.

I have checked the head bearings and can not detect any wear or play in them, the front tyre profile is as it should be. Swing arm has no wear or side play and is in good condition. yes the bike feels as though it wants to stand up when i ride the bike through a corner at speed it shakes it head slightly and wants to stand up and run wide i have checked the frame and that is ok and both wheels track true. i will change the fork oil and see if that makes a difference. what grade should be used and do you think heavier oil in the forks would be better or not ?streetsurfer wrote:That does kind of sound like notchy or loose head bearings. I like the pipes. Is there more ground clearance? Had you scraped your stock pipes or these yet??
