Sure, it can fit on other kind of bike with some modification, here and there many people fitted Monster, 851/888, etc.... stuff on the Paso and vice versa!
I never seen any aftermarket handle-bars: do you want raise them?
If so, you can put two spacers under every handle-bar.
There is a project, with CAD plans, in the 750 forum sticky thread.
P.S. that label about "rev limiter" was by the factory!
Ciao

So the they are Contis and it`s a good system? Great.
Not perfect but much better! Didn`t notice much else.
Time for some service now.

Had absolutely no idle, just died at traffic lights etc. Tried STP Injection Cleaner today. After 70km`s almost idle, 170 km`s idle!8. I also am searching for a good injection cleaner, any advice would be welcome.

No matter, I heard the 2 in 1 exhaust on the twin bike it's not so good.Finnpaso wrote:I am quite sure, its "newer Conti", but painted to black later...
Antti,
do you think that Conti brings more power than a "normal" open exhaust?

I don't know what persempre is talking about. All three of 907ies have rev limiters.
Franco, rev that bike a bit! You'll find out you have a rev limiter!

Frankie: rev limiter is INSIDE EPROM, NOT "inside other part of ECU", so If You have some "tuned" EPROM, its normal, that limiter is out of working, OR its set to higher RPMs. Original 907 Eprom have limiter in 9000 rpms.
Contis are quite open/free flow exhausts, but mostly best ever made pipes, if thinking sound. Pitty, that chrome is not so good quality in thise chromed ones.
Btw, Ducatis enginbes are normally "designed" to use 2-2 exhaust system, thats why 2-1 is not so good and often cause adjusting problems. I use allways 2-2 systems.

My ECU name:
Weber 1IAW Italy 043/04 Marelli electronica WU43.07/20A.28
EU on lid
Chip:
Ducati 907ie -23- 04
Do I have a P7 w a OEM ducati chip?
Anyone has a pic of their open airbox lid? Do you just open it as much as possible or what?
Most popular gearing? Had 15/39, really high!

U have P7 and original Eprom.
I use 15 / 46 gearing.... I dont need top speed, only hard acceleration against those jap bikes in twisty roads and that function very well....

Cant remember exact, but i think very close 4800.... and its "extreme" Anyway one of my biggest hobbies is currently drive ONLY TWISTY roads here VERY fastly, never in highways(too many polices!) and wait to meet some jap 4 sylinder bikers, who think, that they are very fast in twisties.... After some kms i cant see anymore they in my backside.... and they really havent passsed me! :funny: :funny: :funny: Maybe i am very strange person, but have to say, that i can get best mc "kicks" from those moments.... Surely sex is another thing..... :laugh:Tamburinifan wrote:Wow, 15/46 sounds extreme! What RPM`s in 6th at 120km/h?
