Too hot sauna and too much koskinkorva causes the same effect on native english speakers.

Re: Valve clearance.
First of all, can someone show me their 0.000 feeler gauge??? NO, not that thing :-)
.000 is the proper clearance. Yes it seems strange but it is. If you can find the .02mm feeler and set it to that you are going to be in the proper range.

Re: Valve clearance.
He guys,
I've measured all the clearances for several times with the following results:
vertical cylinder:
intake opener: 0.02 - 0.03 mm
intake closer: 0.03 - 0.04 mm
exhaust opener: 0.05 mm
exhaust closer: 0.10 mm
horizontal cylinder:
intake opener: 0.08 mm
intake closer: 0.07 mm
exhaust opener: 0.05 mm
exhaust closer: 0.04 mm
Seeing the reply of Tamburinifan with the late 90s specification it would mean that I for sure have to adjust the exhaust closer on the horiziontal cylinder. Would it also be neccesary to enlarge the tollerances on the openers of the vertical cylinder? For the horizontal cylinder the same question about the openers and I have to adjust the intake closer I recon.
I will contact a reknown Ducati Dealer tomorrow to see what they judge and let you guys know.
'Edit'
Ok, I checked with StarTwin and they confirm sort or less Tamburinifan's specifications. They state:
Intake opener: 0,10 - 0,15 mm
Exhaust opener: 0,15 - 0,20
Closers: 0,02 (Actually they guy sad that you must not be able to press the feeler gauge in but still the cup must be rotatable).
He also mentioned that some of Ducati's specifications on openeres are to tight.
'End Edit'
regards,
Remko
