Hi again,
I just discovered this board, so I've got a few questions...
I've got an '88 blue Paso. It (and I) and been from Boston (home) to Maine to Fla to WA to Southern CA, and most of the states in between, and it's had more than 40K miles since I wadded the drive chain up inside the crankcase while trying to get airtime going up a steep hill in San Francisco. And, when I wasn't traveling, I parked it on the streets of Cambridge, MA, so it's been backed into a few times. It's been totaled three times, once before I got it at 542 miles. And it looks it.
I've picked up some replacement bodywork, but blue is hard to find, so most of the replacement stuff is red. I tried to get the local auto paint shop to match the paint for me, but there is not a big enough piece of the bodywork that is both flat enough and not scratched/scuffed/touched-up/damaged that they can use their fancy computer paint-matcher to match the color for me.
Does anyone know a paint code for the Paso blue? Or a source for it?

Re: Blue Paso paint?
I can't help you with the blue paint code, but I did want to say that it sounds like you've really enjoyed your Paso over the years. Welcome to the forum!

Are you still in MA? Sean Lezotte in CT is a pro Duc painter and can match the paint for you. His company is CCR and he's near Danbury, CT. http://www.ccrbike.com/default.aspx

Re: Blue Paso paint?
Greetings fellow blue '88 owner! Did you know that only 55 1988 Paso 750s came to the States? Thought you might like to add that little factoid to your well-travelled steed.
Anyway - I've had to repaint a busted mirror pod in the past, and I used the color-match option. If Sean @ CCR can't help you I still have a can left-over from my repair. I can give you the numbers from that if you need - just let me know! Feel free to hit me up off-list w/ a PM or email (in case I don't check this thread soon enough). I'll try to remember to post up my numbers anyway ...

Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.
