PASO MIRRORS FOR SALE!!

Hi everyone.
Here is the opportunity you have been waiting for. Spare Paso mirrors.
The manufacturer has a minimum order, so in order to get one mirror I had to buy a box full. There was the usual English/Italian confusion, as they advertise that the mirrors are red, but you still actually have to ask for them to be painted red, otherwise you get the raw plastic finish, like these are. They are very easy to paint and have already done my one. Both left and right side are available.
Cost including international air postage is Euro 122 and payment can be made via PayPal.
For comparison a few months ago “Finnpaso” arranged the last mirror in Helsinki for me, this cost Euro 163 including postage. Which I was very happy to pay.
Please send me a personal message and we can make arrangements.
Fraser.

paso mirrors....

Post by sungamma »

These the same as for the 907ie? If so, I need one or possibly 2. Any chance of getting them to paint it the Ducati metallic black?

Thanks,

Gary

Well done, Fraser.

What are the chances of a continuing supply from your source?

Hi Skins,

Yes there should be no problem for future supplies. The only issue is that the manufacturer has a minimum order value, so it is either one or two very expensive mirrors or a box full of reasonably priced mirrors.

All the mirrors went to EuroBrit spares in Melbourne, it will be interesting to see what they try to sell them for. We did a deal where they provide a pair of Mikunis off a 750 SS (and all the ancillary bits) and some cash and I send them the mirrors.

Regards,

Fraser.

Are these OEM or Freccia/Cagiva mirrors?

Mirrors were the Cagiva Freccia type from FAR S.p.A.
Here is a link to the catalog page http://www.far.it/cat1/catalogoeg.htm
You need to tell them that you want them painted (assuming you do) and the colour otherwise they come "raw". There is also a minimum order value, so they are advertised at 45 Euro in my catalog or 35 Euro on their web site, but they will charge you a minimum of 200 Euro (or they did 2 years ago, perhaps it is now more?). So best to make up the order up to 5 or 6 mirrors then sell the remainder that you do not need.
They come complete with mirror, amber lens, bulb and wiring. There is a small amount of fiddling to get them to fit (filing the holes in your fairing for the bolts) but it is no bother.

OEM mirrors do not exist, however as FAR make mirrors to supply most manufacturers this is as close as you will ever get.

If "anyone" is thinking of getting an order together I'm in for one left assembly..."anyone"???

I'm not in a hurry right now but in a month or so I might pursue this myself if "anyone" hasn't done it sooner.

Cheers
Andrew
