Selling mine......

Post by beemerboy »

You're looking at a 1992 Ducati 907IE, factory charcoal black in color with 95XX miles showing on the odometer.

The bike has SS brake lines, rides on Pirelli Diablo's, and transports its rider in the comfort of a Corbin seat. I have lots of extras (NOS coolant hoses, fuel tank, seats, voltage regulator, original black chrome exhaust pipes) that go with the bike as well as records to support the bike's excellent maintenance record, I am its third owner.

I bought the bike over three years ago showing 6006 miles on the odometer. It has had a 6K checkup and a complete "going through" by the local dealer. I have the original owner's manual and a 907 tool kit that's a bitch to try to store under the seat. I have three steel keys for this bike.

The body panels are crack free but do have some wear at the corners due to being removed by the previous owners. There appears to be some minor paint touch up here and there but you have to look for it.

I am asking $5,500 OBO, a full price offer gets all the extras or we can negotiate on bike only or bike and specific parts.

Randy

Hey folks,

I thought I'd update this thread. My bike sold to a collector in Miami Beach who plans to put it on display in his office and ride it occassionally. I could not have asked for a better person to sell it to.

In the 3+ years I've been a member of this board I've asked more questions than I've provided answers and even though I'm Ducati-less I plan to remain a member.

Best wishes to you all, ride safe and be well!

Randy

Yo English,

I'm definitely planning on sticking around. I already miss my 907 but it was time to pass her on and I can assure you she's in a great home. I'll be sharing what I know and will do all I can to help. I hope to own another Duc sometime down the road and who knows, maybe it will be another 907.

In the meantime this:

Has been repalced with this:

And now the new K-bike is commanding all my time and $$

Ride safe!

Yea, yea, yea, that Hitler thing is all over the internet so it isn't anything I've not already seen!

As for my choice of ride all I can say is that I was riding BMW's before I was riding Ducati's (that's why my board name is what it is) and have had better luck with that brand over Ducati. I'll probably own another Duc sometime down the road but for now I want to give my poor wallet a rest. :P

Hey Finn,

I got character coming out of my butt!! In fact, I got a lot of that character writing checks for parts and repair costs on the Ducati. Besides, I was nearly going
broke with three European bikes in the garage and a Land Rover as well. These machines aren't cheap to maintain you know!
