88 paso with supposed F1 options?

Post by NEohioPaso »

Hello Fellow Paso owners. I just joined and have an '88 I'm interested in learning about. I bought it 4 years ago with 7,000 miles on the clock from a fella who claimed it was ordered special with the dual carbs and single "GIO.CA.MOTO" pipe. He claims the original owner was the service mgr at the dealer it came from and had these items installed as options (F1 kit?) prior to delivery. I have put about 5,000 miles on it, runs great, and it sure gets lots of attention. Just wondering what I have - and if it is beyond a garden variety single-carb, dual pipe Paso750?? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don`t really think it`s something special, although it`s not original. Check "Cycle January 1989-Paso tweaks". You can find the article in the P750 forum on top in the thread "downloads" and then english magazines. Dell ortos and a Gio.Ca.moto were recommended there.

Btw. why do you post in the classifieds section ? :)

Do you happen to know which dealer? My Paso was from Ohio and it has a few F1 goodies on it as well such as the Clutch and brake levers/Master cylinders....
