for the fairing/windshield, is this how it originally looks?

There are no supporting "ears" on that frame to support the top of the 3 screws that holds windshield?

Hi Gert,
There are no top supports or ears.
this looks stupid but it's true. I also wondered this support.
if the fairing and dashboard unit aren't perfectly lined out you will notice that the small silent blocks of the dasboard are bend and will rip off at the end.
solving that problem means you have disassemble the whole clock unit before you get access. This ain't fun, I've been there. the benefit is that you can polish, clear and repaint anything what is attacked or discoulered over time :?

Thx. :)

I have that support on mine. Somekind of ugly, bad welded thing.
But maybe it`s a good idea to keep it instead of an original frame?
It`s the vibrations of the windshield that makes blocks fail?

Ugly and not so good welded but guess I`ll fix it up & keep it on the bike cause it supports better.
