clutch pressure plate
been thinkin about making a new pressure plate for the old slapper. Im quite happy to leave the piston in the clutch cover ,but I would like to fit the berring onto the pressure plate and make a piston with a spigot that fits into the berring. Mine has been munted by the previous owner

Re: clutch pressure plate
I do recall seeing a setup using a "thrust needle roller bearing", although it was a long time ago, and in the pits at a race meeting.
if you have access to a lathe, it would not be too hard to turn up some spacers to adapt to this type of bearing, although the slave piston may need some machine work as well.

Re: clutch pressure plate
I was thinking more of a axial load ball berring , similar to the one in my 97 SS . And yeah I do have a lathe , so I can spin up a pressure plate and a new piston with no berring . The only issue is getting it all under the cover coz there aint a whole lot of room there
