You need to be a "luva2 of this type of machine and I am to be honest, My son used to be a track cyclist at Manchester Velodrome and I remember seeing a few cycles that used direct wheel drive like that, I also think the new Honda concept tourer that they are said to be bringing out in 2010 is going to have a similiar drive train to this.

One of the issues has always been weight and the wear on the moving parts in comparison to the chain or shaft drive format.

Aha, Harley have released their 2009 touring bike, excellent! With my little legs and really long arms I can look forward to long ,hard days in the saddle, yippee. I may have to bolt my tank bag onto my spine, as luggage capability seems restricted. At least it wont take much money to fuel up, and the cost saving of a chain is a masterstroke. I think I will need two girlfriends to keep this one clean!

But the creative genius in the artform is surreal.
Perhaps he couldn't afford a Paso. Poor Bugger...............

Let's be real.... practically it's most probably a dog.... technically, even with some patents in place, it's probably dubious... but as a (surrealistic) art form, it's a piece of work....

It is an idea that has been around for many years, way before tron,not one has made it to production yet. If I had to place a bet on who will be first it would come down to Honda or MV.jm2c
