Wanted please- rear suspension unit in UK for 906 Paso

Hello All,

My 1989 906 Paso rear shock has broken and I was wondering if anyone on the list knew of one for sale in the UK please? (One from a 907 would also fit I understand). Here is a photo of my 55,000 mile, one-owner machine and just below it is a picture of the broken top mounting on the rear suspension unit.

I cant confirm fitment but there is one for a 907 for sale on ebay:

I do actually have a 906 rear shock lying at the bottom of a cupboard. Its been replaced by another shock absorber and needs refurbing. So I am sure you can find a better example. Its mechanically OK and did not do anywhere near the amount of mileage as yours but you would need to send it to Ktech or Maxton for an overhaul (if they will). So I am loath to offer it because I would not deem it suitable for immediate use and you really should check with these people beforehand so that if you take it on it will be serviced by them (fluid coating damper rod & spring needing powder coat)
