Oil Light Pressure Switch

Post by twosmokeforever »

Just trying to make sure everything works on the Paso.
Can you tell me if the oil pressure light should be on when the bikes ignition is on but the bike is NOT running? I guess so but our pressure switch seems dead the idiot light only works when i ground it.

Any idea if the switch is still available and what sort of money?

The bulb is close to the right oil cooler, togeter with the press gauge.
Try to ground the wire plug: the light must be on (if you groun the wrong wire, the press hand must go to max). If it does not, the instrument dash light is gone, otherwise it's because of the bulb; it might cost about 10 or 15 €.
have a nice ride, Nicola
