750 paso dash assembly
750 paso dash assembly
Anyine have a good exploded view of the dash and nose fairing, I have a factory shop manual but not much mention of the body. I got this bike partially disassembled from a friend. Have sorted it all out except how the dash goes back together in the cowl / front nose of the bike. Any pics links advice will be greatly appreciated. I did a search but didn't find much. Thank you all in advance.

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
I have the headlight fairing off of my bike at the moment. Would some photos of the support frame and dash mounted to the bike help?

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
there are 3 small silent blocks that mount the instrument panel to the headlight frame.
See. Tav.17 of the Paso750 parts catalogue which you can find in the download thread on top of the P750 forum.

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
Thanks for the info. I see the blocks you were talking about now. Great site and info. I downloaded it all. I have not decided yet if I am going to put it back stock or make it naked. The other thing I confirmed is that the oil coolers are held in the fairing sides by fear!

If you want a good naked bike, buy a Monster.
You can get her as you want.
As Nicola told, no naked Paso has ever looked good.

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
I don't know about that. I could make some aluminum panels to cover the bits an pieces, I hammered out an aluminum Manx style tank for a buddies 450 desmo. I might be able to come up with something to make it interesting. So am I correct about the oil coolers??just wedged in and held there by fear?

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
I am sorry for the delay on the photos. I'll try to get some tomorrow. I'd like to move the bike into better light and give myself more room. I can try to show how the fairing is lowered down, but I won't have the side panels or tank on to match it up to. I should be able to give you a general idea of how to get started.
There are rubber caps that fit the top and bottom of the coolers. They provide a snug fit, and hold the coolers in place. Lubing them with silicone or a light grease helps with removal and replacement of the fairings.

Re: 750 paso dash assembly
No problem on the pics. I think I have it figured out. One of the other members steered me to the parts catalogue download. So whenever you get the chance the pics will be appreciated.
