radiator

Post by wup »

My radiator is in pretty bad shape and I would like to replace. Does anyone know if a radiator from a '92 907ie is the same as a '90 906? What other suggestions or experiences has anyone had with hot running bikes? She is o.k. as long as we are moving fast but stop and go in hot weather, temp gets up there. I was thinking of carrying a spray bottle and misting the radiator at red lights, stops, etc..

Best, wup

They are identical.
If you check on the parts' catalogs, you'll find out they have the same part number       .

There is one on US Ebay for $90US, Alternately take radiator out and have it reverse flushed at a service centre that supplies this service , if it holds up to this you should have a good result .Is the coolant still a good colour or is it tainted brown . Pays to replace it regularly. Cheers........... Marty
