16" tires

Post by Texas Red 88 »

Have been working with my Pirelli race tire supplier and he seems to think he can get the 160/60 16 130/60/16 set up for me. Says I'd need to buy ten sets to make it worth doing. Anyone else need some fresh rubber? Just a feeler to check interest/need. Will post up if he actually makes it happen.

please confirm what tire this is and if it`s something definite.
It doesn`t make any sense to create another topic like this one here http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2930 with 5 pages only saying "yes, I`ll take a pair, too".
You can be sure to get rid of more than 10 sets IF you get someone to produce some. You should clearify that first.
No offense.

I doubt Pirelli would build some tires again when they stopped to do them 20 years ago...
I hope it was not another senseless hope...

He is working with Pirelli, Bridgestone, and Metzler. We are trying for original 160/60 and 130/60. I will post up as more info becomes available.

If you can get some made, I guarantee that you could sell ten sets without any problems (depending on price). I'm sure I would buy at least one set depending on my finances at the time they are available, just so I can put off doing a 17" conversion.
