Mine is in the basement too, but I'd say the 92's 907 are the later and not the earlier.

You would need to confirm from which number did Ducati start production in 92 also with respect to dates of Registration in each country, in the UK we have earlier numbered bikes first registered in 95 !!! The only way you will ever know is to have Ducati show the Production line dates with numbers associated which I doubt will ever be available?

This is exactly why I suggested that I would start a register http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3257. At that time, no one wanted to divulge frame numbers because a certain englishstiv pointed out the 'risks' of doing so.

I still believe a register of the bikes that survive is the way to do this rather than random threads.

Mine registred 1/1 1992, no 1108.

Why is this important?

According to Falloon, they made a total of 2303 907's. Mine is a late 92 and is frame #2225. From that, I was assuming that they started at #0001, but maybe that's taking logic too far? Or maybe Falloon's wrong...

The 907's production started on 1990 (even if the first one was built on 1989).
The 1992 was the last year of production.
You can find the numbers of the production here.

Thats a bit of a dig me thinks matey?

Steady on there injected I believe I also said this -
Good Luck though will be interesting to see if it takes off.

The Quasar site does look smart though.
I am happy and quite willing to punch in frame and chassis numbers photo's aswell I just felt that a central database with my
VIN:
Engine Number:
Location (Region/State, Country):
Colour:
Condition (Concours/Good/Roadworthy/Off-road/dismantled):
Modifications:
Other comments:

Email address of owner (will not be published):

sent off to someone that with all due respect was a relative stranger to me was something at the time I was not prepared to do, still ain't actually now either.
As I have said in earlier posts and also myself suggested it would be handy to have various chassis and frame numbers only and country of origin/location available on the site to show which ones are still out there it could easily be added to the owners photo threads that we have.

Injected you made the offer why not persue it ?
