While on this subject, anyone have a source for the taped back foam or felt insulation that the lenses rest on to protect it and the mirror from vibratrion? :?:  I notice it is missing in Skins photo as well :P

Thanks, everybody.

The wire is lighter than number 8, maybe 10 or 12 guage (British guage) high tensile. You don't need much heat for the brazing so the temper is not affected. I use an O ring for the vibration seal, although it's a bugger to fit. It wouldn't be hard to find an easier vibration seal, I reckon.

Sorry about my absence. I was nursing my partner Christine, who had a brain tumor. Then I lost her. She was a very good woman and her loss had a big affect on me. It still has, although I now have another who is just as good.

I haven't ridden the Paso for a year or more - it's an expensive bike to run, and I've been a bit broke. I've been riding my little Honda GB 400 single instead.
