Oooh I just thought that if V2barn was having "issues" removing the ignition switch simply removing the top clamp would greatly increase access and thusly the range of impliments that could be (mis)used to effect removal of said switch, :D
;) Higgy , someone has already commented ( favourably ) on your signature, well this time its your avitar. Every time I read one of your posts , my eyes are drawn to that bright blue shock of hair, on the left there and.... well ,my perception of you is getting more like Fred Flintstone every day :P :P   , and I have to keep reminding myself that ( probably) aint true .

that`s why someone invented key rings :)

Some time ago in town I returned to the full parking, I used the remote to open my silver Audi and was about to get in when a woman sitting in the car told me I was probably wrong. For a split second I didn`t get what was going on and what she was doing in my car until I noticed that my Audi was actually parked 2 cars away from this identical one
You`re not alone

Hey Higgy, I think in the circumstaces you were very gentle with me!! i can't believe i just coughed to the world that i had done such a stupid thing.
G, i did a similar thing at an airport, i saw what i thought was a people carrier taxi parked there and it wasn't until i had thrown my 4 kids in the back and sat in the front seat with my wife behind me that he announced rather indignantly that he was waiting for his son and girlfriend to arrive and perhaps we should try the taxi rank!!!
Any more 'Frank Spencer' moments out there?? do you know who Frank Spencer was??
Cheers  John

The name "Frank Spencer" may be used in the UK to refer to a particularly inept man, particularly one who is not very good at home improvements; "he did nothing right, and two things wrong". Examples of the phrase in ordinary usage are: "He's a bit of a Frank Spencer" or "Well that was very Frank Spencerish". Naive, clueless and accident-prone

I actually made a date with a very attractive woman once a long time ago from a similar situation, ended up married to her for going on 20+ years now. Even in our most feeble minded moments good things can come of it
