oberon clutch slave cylinder...... more problems

hi all, i'm getting fed up with the 907 now. i've got a new brembo clutch master cylinder and a new oberon slave cylinder and i still dont have a clutch

i bought the 916 oberon slave and it comes with a small length of rod to put in the slave to basically extend the clutch rod length. Even with this in its as if the slave doesnt push the rod enough to dis-engage the clutch. I'm thinking that the small bit of rod needs to be longer. any ideas ??

anyone else fitted an oberon slave to thier 906/907 ??

Do you wanna pop round and measure up the original with mine the engine is in bits and I have a spare that might be useful to compare
