ive been told it would be a good idea to change my belt tensioners and idle pulleys while im at my engine overhaul. has any body got any they want to sell or can recomend a supplier? its a 906. thanks.

I thought about replaceing those too but the idler on mine the mounting bolt and the roller were one part assy and bloody expensive ....... so they are still there

Just as McTool says, the one-piece bearing (SKF as std) is expensive as it's probably peculiar to our 2v engines (around £35 from Ducati) but the other side-by-side bearing (i.e. 2 required per belt) can be obtained anywhere (as ducapaso has said) for less than at Ducati dealers. The company 'simply bearings' has a good reputation and I would certainly recommend that you try them.
thanks giocast all usefull information there. i am working to a budget so the side by side option sounds like a winner.
