Re: Decent Exhaust Pipes?
Solicitors . . . boy do we get a bad press. I became a solicitor at 40 BECAUSE I was so p*ssed off with cr*p lawyers who charged a fortune. Always remember a solicitor is a LAST resort.
Remember everyone a GOOD solicitor (like ANY good professional) is cheap no matter what they charge and a BAD solicitor is expensive no matter what they charge !!
Ah yes bikes, knew I was here for a reason . . .
The trailer Claude is for two bikes NOT a trailer for each bike. Sorry I wasn't clear. And Claude, I have to tell you - you whole bike is a bloody inspiration - I keep going back to look at the pictures - pure Paso porn.
One day - I promise - my Paso WILL BE THAT GOOD !!

Re: Decent Exhaust Pipes?
I also was a solicitor, but I abandoned that job just because of that bad press
.
So, I have always spent very few money for lawyers and solicitors. All the money saved has been spent on Pasos
.
Now, I'm working for a governative agency of social security.
Ciao

Rhino when are you getting these bikes? dont worry about a few stonechips, I have quiet a few on mine, get Holts touch up paint I think MONZA RED...and you're on the right track to get a complete service done..and you need to change the tyres with some softer sports rubber.
like I said you have a good unit to start with...only travelled few miles...I still cant believe that you still havent seen them, let us know when you actually see them

I think you've been infected with the paso bug

Cheers Claude.

Re: Decent Exhaust Pipes?
Ah Claude - what can I say - my car got creamed (with me in it) by a coach a few days ago, so, having had the bikes delivered to the exact opposite side of the country from me I have still yet to see them - let alone swing a leg over them!! Still it's been 23 maybe 24 years since I last rode a bike - what's another week or two. To be honest given the state of the whiplash it may yet be a while before I can ride either of them . . .
I'd be very grateful for a tyre recommendation for the Paso bearing in mind that - even though it's Wales - I will try to avoid rain like the plague. Yeah, yeah I know - I may never get to ride them ! Angelix - on the 'New Member, long time owner' thread recommends Pirelli Diabolo tyres running 2.2 BAR front and 2.4 BAR rear - any thoughts?
As to being infected by the Paso bug I owned, in about 1989, a brand new 750 Paso and I have to say, I have nothing but good memories of that bike. It started, stopped, ran like a watch gave pretty good fuel consumption and I never had a minutes trouble with her - amazing given that she was completely stock. Sadly stolen, and even though it was 20 years ago, and even though I'm a lawyer, if I ever find the piece of human excrement that stole her, he will, after several days - beg me to let him die.

Memories...that is the reason that I could never sell my bike, too many good memories.
As far as tyres go Angelix recomends a very good tyre...my brother used diablos on his 851, I have michelins pilot road in the rear and pilot sport front, but if had a choice again I would go pilot sport front and back and I dont go that fast, but its good insurance

Cheers Claude.

Donaldoduck...this looks like a much loved 907...I cant take credit for my staintune setup, but you have done a mighty good job with this exaust system and working in close tolerances to keep the rear pegs...congratulationsDonaldoDuck wrote:Staintunes are nice! Re: Decent Exhaust Pipes?
Thanks guys! The Supertrapps sound great and were easy to fit with the megaphone design. They fit so tightly to the bodywork that you can not even tell they are there. I made a set of Forza High pipes for my 900 and I like those as well but they are not as sleek as the SuperTrapps.
