16" Tyres

Post by Rhino »

I have just been told by "Jason" at:

Moto Strada
Unit 1 The Sidings
Thackley Old Road
Shipley
West Yorkshire
BD18 1BN

Tel: 01274 592500
Email: enquiries@motostrada.co.uk
Web: http://www.motostrada.co.uk

That Michelin are doing two production runs a year of 16" tyres.

Is this true? I think we should be told.

If they are then I'm going to start buying Pasos (Hell I might anyway)

That it would be really GREAT!!!
But I'd be not so sure: those A/M 59 tyres have a very old design.
Who knows...

Rhino,

Unfortunately this "story" appears every other year, just urban legend and possibly wishful thinking from the Paso owners.

Cheers,

Fraser.

That info is from 2004/2005 when Michelin actually did that. There will definetely be no A/M59X no more.

Dear hythehillmotorcycles,

As you can no longer get 16" tyres (anywhere) to fit this bike are you selling it with some spare tyres?

there`s a difference between new and unused. New ones don`t exist, just ask for the DOT number. The only tires some still have are NOS. They sell them as new even if they are min. 5 years old.
