Raiscns - I'm with Higgy. It's your bike you pick the colour to please YOU. The rest of the world can think what it likes. Me? I'd always go back to whatever it left the factory wearing - with one exception. Having seen (in pictures only) a black 907 - I would now paint a 907 BLACK as the soul of Satan himself - because - damn - it just looks so good. Especially with big Agip stickers - it would look SO good.
A good Tri-colour paint job would look great. Personally I'd be very wary of letting a paint shop loose to do their worst AND have to pay them. No, no, no.
Bottom line - Your bike so please yourself. Anyone doesn't like it tell them to buy their own and paint that!
