My Paso has no mirrors!

Post by socaljeff3798 »

Hey guys, its me again,
Funny thing, this Paso I just picked up does not have mirrors, just the turn signals.
I am not an expert but this is the first of this I have seen.
does anyone have any idea, I was told it was a 1986 but the title has it as a 1988 I have not check the manufacture date yet
I have just added pics maybe that will help.

Jeff

Only some prototype had no mirrors... (see gallery)
Standard production alwais hat them (see Motociclismo review in magazines topic: frame N°0003)
Look at the internal part of the fairing... if you can see the seat, it's an OEM one modified
have a nice ride, Nicola

The turn signals are a bolt on affair, just like the ones with the mirrors and intergrated turn signals.
I will post pics tomorrow.

I`ve seen those before and they are not original. I guess it`s a US company who made them as the bikes I`ve seen were from there.

Of course those ones are not the OEM, but the ones for cagiva freccia. The price is quite good, I took a pair for 72€ as a spare, last year

The turn signals without the mirrors were designed and made by myself and sold by European Cycle Specialties. They were designed to make the bike look cleaner and for the many customers that found the stock mirrors useless. I still have one or two sets available, as well as all the tooling and parts to make more if anyone is interested. They use Ducati 900ss turnsignal assemblies.

Actually, the stock mirrors are quite useless.
However, I would never add some upper mirrors as that yellow 750 has.
Much nicer the bar end mirrors with the Steve's turn signals.

actually I've got one of those, and use it when I carry a pillon...drilled a hole and put a 10mm tapp on the handle bar, its easy to put on and take off
they're made in Japan with the name napoleon and have a visible sticker with BARREN...good quality
Cheers Claude.
