Does a full system Conti fit both 750 & 900?

Wondering just same, as i taught, that 750 and 906/907 Paso engines have different header measurements??? Does that fit to 750 OR to 906/907 ???? ...and surely they are fixed and polished... What polishing make to chromed surface? Is it wise to use polishing material/chemicals to chrome surface? I noticed from my Conti's that that chrome is quite poor quality, thats why asking it....

the engines are different. The cylinders on a 900 are higher. I don`t know if there was a specific 2in1 header for the 900 engines. It could be that it fits 900 and 750 just because it is a 2in1.
I don`t know if an original P750 header fits on a 900 either but vice versa it doesn`t. The header tubes are longer which will shift the complete exhaust taking one silencer closer to the swingarm and the other farther away. It could be that with a 2in1 header this effect doesn`t matter. I have some doubts though.
The silencer is exactly like the new one I sold to Francesco some years ago. It was original in the box which said 906 on it. It is different then the 2in2 Conti silencers. It`s not completely open as that may be too loud in a 2in1.

Antti, if you have a left and right one you have the open ones. I think the other one only existed as a righthand version.
The 2in2 Conti silencer core is a straight through perforated tube. If I remember well the 2in1 Contis core tube was also perforated but had a surface like a cheese grater also one couldn´t look through.
Maybe Freankie can confirm this or post a picture if he still has it.

I just watched inside of my 907IE 2-1 Conti system(bought from Tamburinfan) and it looks inside exact samekind as my 2-2 Conti mufflers? Open one and construction seems just samekind. I can look through of it easily. My 2-1 Conti looks samekind, as that one for sale, but mine have CF cover and i have painted it by heat resistive black colour.

Yes, I have got both the 2in2 and the 2in1 Contis and they look the same in the inner side (actually, I have not opened them).

My conti 2:1 has the cheese grater internals - its a little course for Parmesan but could work for Cheddar I guess

Seems, that nowone wanted to pay 349€ from that Conti system, as web site fades away immediatelly when try to open it.... does that mean, that auction is over? Site can be seen very short time (under 1 second)

I think the reason the article 'disappears' is that Ebay sticks this whole section at the top of the page after the auction ends. If you scroll down you would still see the original listing.

I can't justify spending the money right now otherwise I would have been tempted to buy this. The pipes look in pretty good condition and the ones on my bike are pretty badly corroded.

Really, I think the price was not too much expensive for a full Conti exhaust.
Besides, even if used, it seemed in very good shape.
