Octane boosters will raise the combustion temperature and can overheat the exhaust valve. Super unleaded should be all you need.

I know that but it is only 97 RON, the addition of Toluene etc only takes the octane rating to 99 which isn't much Avgas can go up to 130 RON and these home bru ideas sound distinctly dodgy.
