Spark Plug/Oil Update

Post by chasaduc »

I learned today that the Champion RA6YC is now called RA6HC. Or at least that's what I was told on the parts computer at the parts store. I elected to go with NGK C7HSA. It was the same price. I have not installed them yet. Just letting eveyone know what I learned today. Opinons are welcome. I do know that my Alfa Romeo Spider liked NGK better than Champion. Granted that is a different engine.

I also learned today that Wal-Mart and Meijers do not sell 20w/50 oil. They also didnt have the spark plugs. I had to go to an auto parts store for both. This was a good thing because the auto parts store sold the oil and the spark plugs for less than the big stores.

imho it was a mistake to take the NGK. The Paso seems to run best with Champions.
The shop was right, the RA6HC replaced the old ones.
