Octane boosters will raise the combustion temperature and can overheat the exhaust valve. Super unleaded should be all you need.

So will super unleaded, that is why it is super unleaded,the octane boosters blended in during refinement

I know that but it is only 97 RON, the addition of Toluene etc only takes the octane rating to 99 which isn't much Avgas can go up to 130 RON and these home bru ideas sound distinctly dodgy.
