there are no wave discs for the Paso, only 320mm discs for the 907ie.

I looked in FAQs but ay have worded my search badly.
could the 320 rotors go onto the Oscam wheels and could I reuse my calpers with say a brackets to re position the calipers?
Or are there :?: :?: less expensive rotors available than the originals?

There are no discs other than 280mm that fit on the Oscam wheels.
The rigid discs are the cheapest you can get.

G,

Does that mean that a combination of 300mm rotors with 40mm calipers wouldn't fit either?

not with the Oscam wheels. There are no other size discs that have the same inner and mounting hole diameter - believe me I went through several catalogues and drawings.
The only way to fit bigger brake discs is a, have your own made or b, use 16" Marvic rims or 17" rims. I both cases you`ll need also an adapter for the brake caliper.

I raised this with Brett at Italian M/Cycles in Adelaide ( He has A Paso) he was suprised when he looked them up at the price new. so in his spare time hes going to try and find any model eg( Monster most likely ) or aftermarket supplier with other options.
I dont know how long he'll take. but hopefully there will be alternatives at lower prices.
He did mention Brembo have alot of rebadged stuff out of thailand & china and this is where they may be from if they exist

Why is it noone believes me ? There are no others.
If Brett thinks about Monster brake discs I guess he never looked at them. The discs of the Monster have the same measurements like the discs of most other Ducs from SS, 748, 916, 851/888, etc several Laverda Zane models, Aprilia RSV etc. which have 17" Brembo wheels and are completely different. A, they have an offset b, they have an inner diameter of 80mm not 136mm.
If you want to check yourself look at the catalogues of TRW, Brembo or EBC.

I believe you G
feel better now

btw,I have contacted these folks and they say they can make them.
have not gone any further with it, not had good experiences with most Chinese made rotors parts. in the end they do OK but it takes many months of back and forth and much $$$ to finally get an acceptable quality part as you are aware :banghead:

right now as far as is know there are no others. he's going to look at aftermarket stuff and also alot of these new korean bikes and bigger scooters also have 16 "wheels because they prefer to copy than invent he's hoping some one may have inadvertantly copied and made a replacement.
If there is great if not then we pay the money and live with it.

Excellence International used to carry in stock the DISCACCIATI rotors for Paso 750-906 (280mm, front rear and floating) and 907 ie 300mm and 320mm fronyt and rear, Only floating.

They do also the 750F1 rotors and many other types for old and new bikes.

I now this as It happens I have them on my 907 and I purchased several sets for other bikes including Pasos. I also know Discacciati (the boss) personally so I can assure they are very serious people with a huge knowledge of braking systems.

Their website is http://store.discacciati.net/ and there is a link for older parts which are made "to order".

Prices are good, however they are not "chinese prices" and unfortunately being part of the EURO ZONE might make them expensive for buyers overseas.

Actually I was in the shop pricing up the parts I needed to fix my Bike and finding out what was available from Ducati
( a suprising amount of things and some cheaper new than 2nd hand on Ebay)
Because he owned a Paso he took it upon himself to look around
I had already resigned myself to getting shafted on the price I mean it was a Ducati dealership after all.
Ps thanks for the other links to brakes they will prove usefull.
