Conti Replicas for Sale - USA, VA

Post by 2vtwin »

I bought them from Road and Race, AU They do not fit my 1992 907ie. They fit 906, 750. I paid $650 and I will sell them for $600, all I did was take them out of the box and try to fit them. Pictures are here http://www.ducaticlassifieds.com/ads/co ... s-for-paso They are not that heavy, shipping in USA should not be that expensive, from AU it was only like $70-80. - Gene

Mufflers are interchangeable between these 3 models.
Please post pics when on bike so fitting problems can be seen.

I hate to tell you they are not, the 1992 907ie bend just after the header pipe is different. I know many have expressed your view, but I'm telling you it's not correct. I cannot show you a picture on the bike because they don't fit on the bike. The bend of the exhaust cans from the header pipe for about the first 5-6" results in the exhaust can being too close to the swing arm. I do not profess to be a Paso expert, far from it actually, but I do know now there is a difference. It's not a huge difference, if the bend resulted in just another 1/2" of clearance at the swingarm it would be acceptable. I think Road and Race is a reputable source for parts, they represented that it fit the Paso 1988-1991http://www.roadandrace.com.au/cat19.htm and said they did not know about the fit for a 1992 907ie, I took a chance based on input form others here. - Gene

That´s why I wanted a pic of them, just slipped on the pipes but not fully fitted, just to see the problems.

I haven`t interchanged between all models but I have fitted the same set Cobra F1 on both 907 & 750 Paso w/o problems.
