the power supply to my coils is from a non switched source. and the igntion box(marelli digiplex grounds them) but in the up grade instructions you take one of the coil feeds to use as the trigger for the relay
because the relay has a constant ground the relay stays on all the time & kills the battery.

also the 750 wireing diagram does not match my harness either does the 906 but the 906 is very similar.

anyway since i removed the upgrade no more dead battery

your coil relay was wired incorrectly.
The 12V are switched by the ignition switch no matter if you have a relay or not.
The relay itself is open. It only switches the 12V to the coils when you turn the ignition switch.
