Actually, its not so sad - I think tires, a new battery, and belts is all it needs to get running.
If anyone is interested, let me know - I'd be happy to answer any questions.

For anyone that's interested, here are some additional photos:

A little more background too...
This isn't my first Ducati - I've had several over the years starting with a 916, which was sold to purchase a 996. The 996 eventually got swapped for Doug Chandler's HMC built 748 FX bike. Somewhere during that time I raced 750 Super Sport too...I just don't remember exactly the year.
At any rate, the Paso is a beautiful bike. Adult owned and ridden for its entire life. It's a great example of an original 25 year old bike should be. Personally, I think it should go to someone who can appreciate its originality and the statement it made in 1987. I know I don't have to tell you guys that, but I cant help mentioning it.
Really, if it doesn't end up going to a good home I'm going to have to make the time to get it up and running, and that wouldn't break my heart in the least.

Hi Todd,
Didn't mean to offend. I meant sad as in needs to be ridden. I was out on mine todayand have to say it is such a fun and easy bike to ride. If you get her up and running you may change your mind on selling it!

No offense taken...I had a pretty good idea what you meant.
I'm sure its a nice bike to ride, and I have no doubt that if I got it running I wouldn't want to sell it.
Other things are just more of a priority now, and riding on the street hasn't been very interesting for quite some time.
All in all, I'd love for it to go to someone who could appreciate it.
Thanks for posting it up here - I appreciate it.

The Paso went to its new home today.
It was somewhat bittersweet, but hopefully the new owner will get it running and enjoy it.

That's good news! Was it found through this forum? My son is 16 and he wanted it so he could ride dueling Paso's with me! Sadly we have some large home repair expenses this year. Congrats on the sale.

No, I sold it through an ad on the Cleveland Craig's List page. Actually, there was a reasonable amount of interest. Ad was up for three weeks, 5 people came to look at it and the last guy bought it.
Hopefully he'll have the motivation to get it running that I lacked.
