Hi Derek,

just a dumb question. :) can't you make a M12 hole out of the M6? I guess there is still enough material to do so. because it takes more to change patterns than to change machining programs.

Hi Bertus,

Yes I can, on the LH side there is no hole at all. There is plenty metal to do both, it's just something I could have done without. I'm hoping to have the 907 back together within the week so that I can make room in the garage for the MTS1200 ABS that's coming. :) Then I have to sell the ST4s. :(

Hi Derek,

I check out on my ST2. as you said, metal enough.
when you bolt the left lower part of the frame, you can use that as a jig.
I've added some pics of the cylinder and engine
