Just looking at the pictures and it looks like it has a Corbin seat and aftermarket exhaust. Also, it is missing the left side mirror and the fairing is busted up in the front on the left side. There was a blue one on eBay that was much nicer than that one. Here is the listing.....

As for your original question, I have never heard of the place....lol.

Took a little bit of digging, but it appears that Competition Cycles is owned by the son of the famous Sal Defeo, the owner of Ghost Motorcycles in Port Washington, NY. Dun and Bradstreet show Augie Defeo as President.gr8lite wrote:Have any of you been to Competition Cycles in Port Washington and seen the 87 Paso 750 they have listed?

You'll find good and bad written about them, mostly under the Ghost Motorcycles name. My experience? All good. I had 4 dealings with them, bought my first 2 Ducatis from them.
The IRS was constantly after this family, and ultimately did succeed in shutting Ghost down. I even got subpoenas for the paperwork for the 2 motorcycles I bought there! Had to prove I paid tax.
Ghost is a legend among people who remember the "old" Ducati!
The $900 Paso: DellOrto's, Dyna 5 ohm coils, Ignitech TCIP4; finally, a new set of tires! Goldentyre GT070/071
The bike is gone, but the nightmares continue...
