A dealer seems to be breaking a complete 907 and has listed the parts on eBay, mainly at ludicrous prices.

There are also a few 906 parts.

Yes I saw that; taking the **** a bit IMHO
. No doubt they are hoping to cash in on somebody's desperation, but frankly, I would break my bike and sell the bits (at much cheaper prices
) rather than pay those prices.

Re: Breaking in the UK
Maybe we should flood their email in box with some seriously honest low bid offers like £30.00 for that rear shock then maybe they might get the hint.

Try to ask him a good discount.ducapaso wrote:As a matter of fact, I might be interested to the rear shock... Mine is in workshop waiting for a response
£. 160 for an used shock is a very expensive price, besides it could be in need of some overhaul.
I don't know...

ORAM in MILAN should be able to fix it.
I had dealings with them some time ago and he reconditoned for me a Marzocchi Supermono and did an excellent job (modified and adapted it for the 907)
I remember talking to Mr. Paolo Pezzotta (the owner) and he assured me they can do virtually any repair and as for the old marzocchis (supermono and duoshock), they can vertually fix them anytime provided that the rod is not oxidized of there are no cracks in the body.
Send him an email (paolo.pezzotta @ oramsospensioni.it) or call him (www.oramsospensioni.it) , I am preatty sure he can help you.

Dicorsa in Florence is having care of it, but it's very full of rust and it's likely to be trashed for this
Still waiting...

Re: Breaking in the UK
I've seen their posting on Ebay.
some parts are priced more or less normal.
other prices are plain robbery.
rear shock: sometimes you see a repair kit on Ebay.de for ± € 50 I thought.
new rear shocks are made by Wilbers in Germany.
I've replaced mine for a Dutch Proflex shock, shortened the stroke and put a 110 kg spring on it to have a correct negative travel. Works great.
BTW. the Proflex came from a Honda 250 MX bike.

Re: Breaking in the UK
If someone is looking to replace their rear
give Robert Taylor of C.K.T
in New Plymouth NZ a call as he did a Ohlins for me with remote spring preload
adjustable remote for $1500nz, thats around 850 euro's,not bad i thought for
an ohlins,he will have spec's as he used my original as a template.
Can't fault it,it works fantastico!!

Re: Breaking in the UK
They do list only the 750 and 906. I`m sure the shock would fit also in a 907ie but the 907ie may originally have a different spring rate than the others.Duc750 wrote:Don't Bitubo still make a shock for the Paso/907 ?
