Conti exhaust

Post by Kmamac »

Hi, I have what appears to be a conti 2-1 exhaust/silencer set up on my 906 bike. This sounds glorious and is one of my favourite Ducati engine noises by a long way. It’s just so sweet when I ride her. However, the silencer end is getting ever more tatty and really lets the bike down. I suspect I have a near zero chance of finding a good second hand one so need to find someone who can make an EXACT, copy. I’m happy for the silencer to be cut opened and effectively sacrificed. I feel the fabricator will also have to copy and corroded out holes as well as I definitely want the exact same sound. I don’t want to pay out and have a sanitised version of what I had before! Does anyone know of a good silencer UK fabricator who does this sort of thing? Preferably in the SE of the country. Thanks in advance

Try NRP Exhausts, Bilsthorpe, near Newark, Notts..
Not in the SE but top quality work.

Did a fab job repairing my rare/valuable crash-damaged titanium 'shotgun' pipes for my Aprilia RSV-R Mille and re-designing/altering the silencer box for my Aprilia RST Futura.

Recommended.
