I thought I'd set up a seperate post to show a photo and say thanks to everyone who offered advice and encouragement. It really helps. Also to the overall website. The workshop manual was good but the spare parts catalogue was great! Showning all the bits and pieces and how they went back together. I've learnt quite a bit on the journey. As i mentioned in another post...its all done but they are never really finished. The tank has a few rub marks from a jacket on the rear to buff out, perhaps find genuine bar ends...

PS any one living Melbourne way the bike gathering at Tooradin in Thursday mornings is worth a look. Heading there today.
