Its NORMAL, cause pads are wet and surely then they dont work, like should. if driving in rain, its good idea to pull front brake little sometimes to keep pads little more dry.

brakes

Always keep your discs clean first learn how to bleed the lines properly its easier to get a mate to take off the handlebar so as to hold master cylinder level obviously as its on a slant and will always slip past the hole in there. When youre going to do this next you could fit some e.b.c sintered supersport pads.[not the supersort bike but the race series remember? sintered are good in the wet weather take it from me ex despatch rider.desmodave.

brake pads in the rain

Post by ducinthebay »

I installed a set of Galfer Green pads. They had a wonderful feel in the dry, nice and progressive. But in the rain, they were horrible. I dragged the front brake to clean them off, and it still was horrible. Next day when it was dry, they worked beautifully again.

I switched to EBC HH. They hit harder, and don't go away in the rain.
