this reminds me of a post where someone mentions that the bend in the pipe replicates the effect of the airbox by calming the airflow before it arrives at the carbs. they recommened these guys http://www.airflowonline.com/rubber.html... however they also said that they were 'L' shaped... those look more like toilet fitments to me...paso750 wrote:here another way to mount airfilters on Mikuni. Received the pic from a Paso owner longer time ago (don`t think it`s good thouh as it takes the air from the hot cylinder)
Finally started with the rebuild

no, didn`t delete the pictures. They are stored on a MSN site and the connection there seems really bad. I`ll have to try to put them somewhere else or make them smaller as the clutch basket pic is stored at the same place and still works.

As anyone can say, longer intake pipes, improve torque performance, but such a large pipe will let a great flow in even at high rpm!
I think it will work good even if it's very.... "handmade"
Oh.. by the way... can we put http://tatjana.fol.nl in the official ducatipaso supplier list? :funny:

I am in favor of it. Maybee one of these days I ask a girlfriend of mine to meet her and make some more pictures on the Paso! Sometimes its good to keep your mind on other things than the Paso. Just for a few moments.ducapaso wrote: Oh.. by the way... can we put http://tatjana.fol.nl in the official ducatipaso supplier list? :funny::lick:

I have 600 monster Mikuni carbs, KN cylindrics filters, very free home made cans, 150 jets and the needle at the upper level+1.6mm washers under the circlips. It runs well until 7000rpm but I think it is still a little lean over this speed... not often used!!!Harigeharry wrote:Boring out the 124 jet!

Before fitting the 150's Reyer fitted the 140 with 750 Monster settings (found on the internet). With CO measurement equipement making the best setting.
Them Reyer took the Paso to a dynorun

With tis as a result:

Reyer thinks the engine still run to lean. So he will put back the 150 jets and tries to solve this. 65 HP on the backwheel must bee possible.
