Sure, ducapaso wrote:before excanging them you might try to search for a good mechanical able to open yours and watch what has gone wrong... i think that many parts are still available
you have only to check it is straight.
All the parts inside can be replaced at no cost....
No matter, I've seen some Paso with the Monster upside-down fork.
Ciao

I am in same line, first check, what is wrong, but surely straight is most important, but normally only crash can do that, nothing else... That straight is also very simple to check and from workshop manual You can see limit values(and surely, how to measure that). Is this topic again something, that guys want to change to some "newer system" without so big problen in old system ????
If so, why they cant tell, what is real reason...

Start to check your fork....zap wrote:well,
i was just thinking that if the repair costs just as much as a exchange for usd, i would pick the second option.
by the way, there's nothing wrong with a good working marzocchi m1r fork, good stuff!!
I'm sure the fix will be very cheper than an used fork.

zap, i dont understand, what are U trying to do? Again have to say, CHECK FIRST, WHAT IS WRONG in Your M1R and we can then discuss more about this thing. Ok, If You really want to buy used M1R, its Your choise, but that way can be VERY expensive to You, cause there is not so many forks for sale... and if there is, then price can ce very high. Remember, that if bike is crashed, normally front fork gets bent first! ...and surely those aluminium Oscam wheels bent very easily...
Btw, when You have changed oils to Your M1R and what amount of oil is there inside????
