Hej Klaus!

As Finnpaso said we need these facts recorded, but the question I ask is it ok to leave the front wheel as a 16inch rim and just change the rear to 17inch that way you still have the quick stear front and a fat as rear? very much like the modern day bike :phone:

Hi Crusher
I would go, and have gone, for the complete package. On the front you get the benefit of the 320 Brembo disc's and that makes a huge difference. And regarding steering, what I have experienced, is that the steering isn't that much different from the 16". You will benefit much more in regards of tyre choice.

Klaus

On the subject of purely looks, i think the most striking aspect of the 'before' picture is the WHITE oscam wheels, i think the bike would retain more of the original look if the gold SS wheels were also painted white as they are visually similar, i believe it would also clean up and lighten the overall effect. Still a v. v. nice bike. My 2c Jon

I like this angle on the bike. Can't really explain why, just is

Nilaus what size tyre are you using, i have done the same to my P750 ie 907 swing arm, 750ss rear wheel and brake etc just need to sort a rear tyre for it.

paso 750. The 907 swingarm is I think the best choise to go for together with a 17" wheel conversion. And I was just lucky in finding one for the right price.

DaveM. 160/60x17 but I would think 170/55 or a even 180 would do it.

and the chain still aligns correctly ? Did it also with the old swingarm + 17" wheel ?
I`m wondering. A 180 16" hits the tire a 180 on a 17" rim not so the rear sprocket should moved more outwards on a Brembo rim which would need correction at the front sprocket or am I thinking wrong ?
