yeah , Its got a "quick rack" ( and pinion ) and a coil-over 4 bar + panard.
The rover and toyota 5 speed box weigh about 40 kg's LESS than the original set up ( 2L pinto), biggest hassle was converting the new set up to a cable clutch
The capri came with a 5l ( 302ci) cast iorn v8 , called a porana , in south Africa ....... bugger that !!!
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

Mc tool - You're right a 302ci in a Capri - bad idea, unless you've spent a FORTUNE on rebuilding the motor so it puts out some proper bhp otherwise you might as well put bags of cement under the bonnet as a performance improvement !!

The "Rover" 3.5 is a great unit and it's been so played with that you can get anything for it at next to no money. I imagine that you'll have great fun seriously modifying yet another part of your car or - knowing you - your body !!!
