If you`re in Australia you could try:
DAYCO
http://www.dayco.com.au/products.aspx?G ... P=18033872
RSP (see their master catalogue p.38-)
http://www.rsp.net.au/Default.aspx
Mackay
http://www.mackayrubber.com.au/products/
Pacific Hoseflex
http://www.hoseflex.com.au/

Of course these are manufacturers but they could name their wholesellers if they have any.

or R10 in Aus (is that the right size ?)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-16-SUBMERSIBL ... 4e&vxp=mtr

In the UK there is also
http://www.advancedfluidsolutions.co.uk ... ion=search
They`re selling R10 in their ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/venairsiliconehoseworld

I'm convinced that 7mm fi hose does not exist in Aus...I've just received the supposedly 7mm fuel hose from just Kampers and its actually 7.5mm or 5/16, its not the right rating anyway but still they should give you the right measurement in the first place...just as well we're not sending any space shuttles into orbit

just a thought; our company has a strong relation to Conti Fluid Tech (indeed Continental)
in this division they produce also fuel lines. when they don't make them anyone does IMO.
But that's after my holiday, which takes an other 2 1/2 weeks.

its actually 7.5mm or 5/16
5/16" is 7,9mm not 7,5

Im not up to date with metric conversion...on closer inspection it says 7.6mm.

5/16" is 7.9375 mm. in that case 8 mm fuel line will work as well

Hi Claude.

Cov's was a bust as far as FI hose goes. I checked with all the Wholesalers G found. The only one that came close was RSP with R9 @ 7.9mm. I worry though was they thought R7 was FI compatible?

The R10 I got was through Advanced Fluid Solutions (go to their Web site, see G post, also eBay). It was a nice snug fit over all the barbed fittings, except for the 2 on the tank. I had changed these 2 hoses with standard R9 5/16" (7.6mm from the local Auto shop), and it was OK, but a little loose. The R10 was a better fit. They sell it by the metre (good price too), where the Oz seller sells it by the foot.

Cheers.

Nick.

That's their  R9 spec hose. If they say its 7.6mm, it will be. It will be ok on all but the 2 connections on the tank, but good clamps will take care of that.

When you replace the hose around the injectors, take the connections off the injectors. They may he a bit fragile when pushing the new hose on. You don't want to fracture them!

Cheers.

Nick.

Today I went to a new VW spare part place just to try, the guys behind the counter never heard of 7mm efi hose...their reply was, you mean 5/16"???
looks like I will settle for 7.6mm and get good clamps

...on a different note, just had a look at the 851, built in the same month as the 907 (April'92) it has 8mm hose which is redily available in Aus, will change them as well.

Hi Claude,

here in Europe the 8 mm is common practice. in the UK I don't know.
our bikes are 20 years or older and I noticed also last year that the fuel lines are starting to crack.
So replacement is at hand. counts for all of us, I guess

This line is NOT suitable for in tank use as in the 907ie

It is made in Germany, looks like NBR
